Background.
1) Dr. J.J. Magdum Chairman
Dr. J. J. Magdum was born in rural place Dhamni which is in vicinity of
Miraj . Irrespective of many adversities, he gained his G.F.A.M. degree. He
started his medical practice & established. Dr. J.J. Magdum Trust in 1972
with a view to cater educational facilities to rural students. The Trust has
started with Jayvijay Vidya Mandir( 1 to 10th Std.) , Jayprabha English
Medium School ( Nursery to 10th Std.) & Little Flower Play Group.
To cater the higher education for the rural students after S.S.C.& H.S.C.
the Trust has started following Institutes.

Chairman Dr. J.J. Magdum has a very good social & economic back ground. He has
established & developed Dr.J.J. Magdum Housing Society . He is a member & was a
president of Rotary Club , Jaysingpur. He is a member & previously was a
secretary of Jaysingpur Medical Association .
In economic sector he is a founder member of Bharat Urban Co-Op. Bank
Ltd. He was a Chairman of Bharat Bank for 10 Years . He is a director .
He is a president of Senior Citizens Club of Jaysingpur.
2) Dr. S.J. Magdum He is a renowned M.S. Orthropedic
Surgeon. He is a Executive Director of Dr. J.J. Magdum
Homeopathic Medical College .
3) Mr. Jambu Bhupal Magdum He is a farmer by profession .He has done many
innovative implementations & used modern technologies in the field of farming .

Frequency of the Board Meetings and
Academic Advisory Body
Three to Four Times in a year.
The Board Members & Academic Advisory Body meets after
every 3 to 4 months Various
Sub-Comities has been established as under.
Finance Committee.
Equipment Committee.
Building Committee.
Staff selection Committee.
They decide the functioning
pattern of various departments.
Nature and Extent of involvement of
faculty and students in academic affairs / improvements.
The faculty follows the Academic Calendar
each year given by examining authority i.e. MSBTE & according to that is works.
The Major academic affairs are
1)
Three no of sessionals examinations are carried out at Institute level
for each subject.
2)
The arrangement of factory visit or industrial Tour has been carried out
where the students can get practical knowledge.
The institute arranges hospital visit to renowned
hospitals in nearby vicinity. Where the students get knowledge of Hospital
Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy, dispensing etc.
3)
The faculty suggests different project work to the students to enhance
the knowledge of subject.
4)
The institute also arranges the Annual Social Sports week & Cultural
Programmes.
5)
The faculty encourages the students to take part in inter-college
competitions in Sports, essay & other competitions.
Mechanism / Norms & Procedure for democratic / good
Governance.:At institute level the faculty & students representative meets as &
when required . They discuss the various issues regarding Teaching & other
co-curricular activities. For students improvement the faculty members give them
the guidance at personal level & tries to improve there performance.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance / faculty
performance.: For the feedback from the students there is suggestion box where
the students can give there various suggestions. Monthly the suggestion box get
emptied & the suggestions are read by the committee. The necessary action is
taken by the principal & the senior members on various issues .
Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and
students.: If there is any serious issue it is discussed with the administrative
staff & principal . The principal then takes this matter to academic advisory
body or board members .The necessary action is taken then .
